Drive the overall Off Trade strategy and operations for Carlsberg Malaysia. This includes strategy, planning, development and implementation of marketing and channel programs to ensure meeting of channel objectives.


Channel Development

  • Develop channel strategies and translate into execution plan
  • Drive the implementation of Channel PICoS
  • Integrate Brand objectives, Channel plan, Customer plan by working closely with the key stakeholders
  • Partner with sales to win, retain and bring Carlsberg’s portfolio of brands to life in the channel
  • Track, analyse and review channel performance, and make recommendations

Operations Excellence

  • Manage channel spend effectiveness and within budget
  • Manage Trade Marketing fund to maximize growth and ROI
  • Ensure strong follow up follow through and rapport building with customers in partnership with sales stakeholders
  • Manage national marketing activities for the channel and channel initiatives implementation, follow up & post mortem
  • Challenge objectively to improve ways of working and deliver better result

People Development

  • Demonstrate and promote the triple As values – Alignment, Accountable and Action
  • Able to lead cross-functional initiatives


  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within channel marketing management in FMCG industry (experience in local beer industry is an advantage)
  • Degree in Marketing, Business or similar
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Innovative and systematic person with sound analytical skills
  • High work capacity and team-oriented
  • Action-oriented, persistent and a change driver
  • Passion in the beer industry
