Define and drive Media and Digital Marketing strategy, lead and manage media agencies, develop and build team capabilities as well as be the SPOC (single point of contact) with Group and Region. 

Responsibilities:

Define and drive Media and Digital Marketing strategy

  • Define the most efficient media strategy (right budget, right media mix, right phasing, frequency , KPIS) for respective brands
  • Enhance brand awareness within the digital and social networking space as well as driving website traffic and acquiring leads/customers
  • Identify and evaluate new digital technologies to better optimize marketing campaigns, email marketing, social media and search advertising
  • Support Brand teams in key campaigns eg Chinese New Year and new strategies eg non beer drinkers, analyse and track results as well as implement corrective actions if targets are not met
  • Ecommerce: recommend and drive “click to buy” from media to ecommerce to increase traffic and conversion
  • Functions: recommend and drive “click to buy” from media to website to increase traffic and volume

Lead and manage media agencies

  • Define and conduct monthly tracking & analysis on objectives eg budget, safety, efficiency
  • Quarterly review on media landscape, competitors, plans etc
  • Drive agency objectives and conduct mid and year end reviews and the subsequent action plans for improvements in media and digital plans
  • Ensure compliance to Marketing and Communications policy by Carlsberg team and media agencies

Build team Media and Digital capabilities as well as be the SPOC (single point of contact) with Group and Region)

  • Develop and conduct trainings and coaching for Carlsberg teams eg Marketing
  • Act as country SPOC (Single Point of Contact) with GC and Region for areas related to media & digital strategies, planning, scheduling and buying

Requirements:

  • Degree in Marketing or equivalent
  • Min 10 years’ experience within digital brand/marketing management in FMCG industry and in media agencies
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in media efficiency and various social media platforms
  • Strong data analytics and business acumen
  • Project leadership skills and experience is critical
  • Right balance between big picture(strategy) and execution
  • Ability to analyze data and solve problems as well as to use judgment in making timely business decisions
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing
  • Innovative and constantly thinks outside the box
  • Able to juggle deadlines, advertising & promotion agencies and media with ease
  • High work capacity and team-orientation
  • Action-oriented, persistent and change driver
  • Local beer industry experience is an advantage
