Work Experience and Present Directorship(s)

Mr. Eric Ooi was a partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Malaysia (PwC) until his retirement in June 2015. He joined PwC in 1977 where he assumed various management and leadership roles for different parts of PwC in Malaysia, across Asia and globally.

Beyond audit engagements, Mr. Eric Ooi also worked on public listings, several engagements under the direction of Bank Negara Malaysia and was seconded to manage a timber plantation and pulp and paper manufacturing company for 2 years during its privatization from a State Government in East Malaysia.

Mr. Eric Ooi is also currently the independent non-executive director of British American Tobacco (Malaysia) Berhad and Genting Berhad, UTAR Hospital and its Audit Commitee, and FI Life Sdn Berhad.
