Presented with the French Art of Pleasure, Kronenbourg 1664 is the official beer sponsor of the BMW Malaysian Open 2013 for the 3rd consecutive year. An official reception and pre-party was hosted by the French beer for international tennis stars, guests and sponsors was held at DoubleTree by Hilton on 24 February.
The event saw the likes of, Donna Vekic, Olivia Rogowska, Krityna Pliskova and Karolina Pliskova who traded their tennis wear for Keith Kee’s cocktail dresses, and strutted down the runway. They were accompanied by Malaysia’s talented violinist, Dennis Lau. Guests were entertained with the special fashion show choreographed by fashion extraordinaire, Benjamin Tong while enjoying the ice cold Kronenbourg 1664.
Also joining the ladies were defending champion Hsieh Su-Wei from Taiwan, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova from Russia and Chang Kai-Chen of China. Su-Wei shared, “Girls are still girls, we enjoy dressing up for a party. It’s always good to let our hair down for an evening of fun before the tournament begins.”
The players has been in action at the BMW Malaysian Open 2013 since 25 February at the Royal Selangor Golf Club (RSGC) competing for a prize purse of US$235,000, watches courtesy of Ball Watch Company, Jeroboam of champagne by Moet & Chandon and valuable World Ranking Points. The tournament is promoted and organized by the Lawn Tennis Association of Malaysia (LTAM) and Carbon Worldwide Sdn Bhd with BMW as the title sponsor and sanctioned by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA).
