Attracting Fans Like Honey Bees At The K1664 Beer Garden

During the one week tennis excitement at the Royal Selangor Golf Club (RSGC), official beer sponsor, Kronenbourg 1664 kept consumers and fans active off the tennis court. The air conditioned K1664 beer garden welcomed guests, consumers and fans daily activities and a free K1664 visor.

On 28 February, guests, consumers and fans were taken back by a friendly visit from the Long Cool Dane, Caroline Wozniacki at the K1664 Beer Garden. Besides sipping onto a glass of chilled French perfected beer, lager and blanc, consumers were thrilled with the meet and greet session with MD Soren Ravn and Wozniacki.

A specially arranged game called “Hit the K1664 Bottle” received good response from the crowd. Two lucky consumers who served a tennis ball and hit the inflatable K1664 bottle won one unit limited edition Christan Lacroix glassware while the winner of the game won an additional one unit Babola tennis racquet.

Another surprise for consumers was the K1664 beer promotion where with every purchase of two pints, they are entitled for a lucky draw coupon which was drawn on the last day of the match where two lucky consumers won an iPad mini each.

Over to the centre court, Karolina Pliskova won her first WTA singles title, settling in with the BMW Malaysian Open 2013 title on the 3 March meanwhile Shuko Aoyama of Japan and Taipei’s Kai-Chen Chang came out top in the doubles.
