On the morning of 31 May 2014, Carlsberg Malaysia and China Press employees gathered at the Lee Chong Wei Sports Arena Sentosa for the highly anticipated Carlsberg-China Press Badminton Friendly Match. The game was organised as an opportunity to further strengthen Carlsberg Malaysia’s partnership with China Press.

Players from the China Press team were in great form, winning five out of 6 matches. Nevertheless, Carlsberg Malaysia seized the King’s match with our MD Henrik Juel Andersen and his partner, Sin Weng Foo from sales team, stealing the show with a smash-hitting game! The Carlsberg crowd stood roaring as the duo smashed their way through an impressive score of 21-13 and 21-7 against the China Press pair, Sports Executive Editor, Terry Yeow and Business Development Manager, Boon Song. It was definitely one of the best highlights of the day.

The match ended on a high note where Carlsberg Malaysia MD Henrik received a photo collage from China Press Sports Executive Editor Terry Yeow, representing the long-term friendship between the two teams. Winning teams from China Press also received complimentary Carlsberg Green Label beer and exclusive Carlsberg watches.
