Kronenbourg 1664 brought the flavour of the French Art of Pleasure with the exclusive beer sponsorship at the BMW Malaysian Open 2011, a leg of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) Tour – the world’s leading professional sport for women. Kronenbourg 1664 was the official beer sponsor at this exciting tennis tournament in Malaysia, held from 28 February to 6 March 2011 at the Bukit Kiara Equestrian and Country Resort, KL.

The Kronenbourg 1664 marquee was buzzing with guests watching the tennis matches featuring some of the world’s best women’s tennis players including Dinara Safina, Marion Bartoli, Galina Voskoboeva, Noppawan Lertcheewakarn, Jessica Moore, Jelena Dokic, Lucie Safarova and many more while enjoying the smooth and icy cool Kronenbourg beer. Celebrities and members of the media were also present to support the event. Among them were H.E. Miles Kupa, The High Commissioner of Australia and celebrity model Amber Chia.

Kronenbourg beer was served daily to its loyal supporters as part of its efforts to generate awareness on this fine premium beer. This event provided the opportunity for fans to meet with the tennis stars during the autograph signing and photography sessions. The event also featured interesting activities such as the French Mime Artist and caricature artist.
