Sawasdee Cup Golf Tournament was held on 9 June 2013, organized by a group of Padang Besar Chinese Golfers held at Black Forest Golf Club, Padang Besar. The tournament’s main objective since its inaugural in 2008 was to raise funds for Chinese primary schools in Padang Besar, Perlis. This year, the tournament successfully raised up to RM60,000 with the ambition to build an golf training field for SJK(C) Padang Besar which is the only Chinese primary school in that area.

The event attracted more than 100 participants from all over Malaysia, mainly from the Northern regions in Kedah, Perlis and Penang.
