As part of Carlsberg’s CSR programme and in support of the welfare for the Indian community a cash donation of RM2,054 was made to pay for the school fees of 30 underprivileged students from SMK Seri Kandi, Teluk Intan, Perak on 20th August 2011. To share the joy of the forthcoming Deepavali celebration, 50 food hampers were also presented to the needy students and their families.

Mr. Sakthivel Annamalai, Chief Advisor of Persatuan Bahasa Tamil SMK Seri Kandi attended the event together with Carlsberg Malaysia’s representatives, Mr. Lim Eng Wah, Northern Region Sales Manager, and Mr Tan Chin Joo, the Area Sales Manager.
