Luen Heng F&B Sdn Bhd (LHFB), a subsidiary of Carlsberg Malaysia, has been appointed as the sole distributor of Asahi Super Dry, the imported premium Japanese beer. A trade and media launch was held on July 16 at the Canon Celebrities Club, Solaris Mont Kiara, KL.

Guest of honour, His Excellency Mr. Masahiko Horie, Japanese Ambassador to Malaysia was invited to grace the event and lent his support towards the positive development of the Japanese beer brand in Malaysia. Other representatives from Asahi Breweries Ltd were the Executive Officer / Head of International Headquarters Mr. Toshio Kodato, Senior Officer/Senior General Manager Mr. Tadashi Nakai and Regional Manager Mr. Takumi Yamaguchi, who flew in from Tokyo to mark this important milestone.

Through the established sales distribution network of Carlsberg Malaysia, LHFB targets to reinvigorate the Asahi Super Dry brand by leveraging on this distribution and step up marketing activities at hotels, restaurants, cafés, chain retailers and duty free islands.
