As an Assistant Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the inbound and outbound flow of finished goods, ensuring timely order deliveries while driving continuous improvement. You will act as a key liaison between 3PL providers, distribution, and other functions, fostering seamless communication to maintain a smooth and efficient supply chain process. Leverage your expertise to lead a dedicated team toward excellence, aligning with the company’s strategic objectives and plans to drive innovation and operational success.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and analyze the movement of inventory in warehouse.
- Constantly review and ensure compliance with company’s policies and protocols in warehousing systems and processes.
- Lead 3PL operations and manage 3PL warehouse expenditures to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Safeguard warehouse operations and inventory by developing and implementing SOPs and protocols.
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security of warehouse.
- Manage stock control and reconciliation with inventory management system.
- Develop, lead, and drive strategic improvement projects within the respective area, fostering a lean mindset to ensure continuous efficiency.
- Address logistics-related customer complaints and conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve underlying issues.
- Manage the preparation of custom reports.
- Perform any other related tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- With at least a Diploma in Business/Manufacturing Management/Logistics Management or equivalent.
- At least 5 years’ working experience in logistics, 3PL operations or supply chain management in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership abilities to motivate and lead a team.
- Capable of leading and working effectively both in a team and independently when needed.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Continuously innovates new ideas and proactively addresses challenges.
- Acts with honesty and high level of integrity.
- Results-driven with the ability to lead by example.
- Computer literate (Ms Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
